Returned Goods

Contact Bel Thermal Units for a Returned Goods Authorization number (RGA#). Return the part or heater(s) in question, Freight Prepaid and marked with the RGA# and company name. Shipments returned collect without prior authorization will be refused.

After receipt of the return, if Bel Thermal Units determines defective material or workmanship the returned item will be repaired or replaced at Bel thermals discretion.

Removal and re-installation of the heater or part(s) and shipment cost to Bel Thermal Units for Repair or inspection shall be at the purchaser’s expense.

Restocking Charge

Heater(s) that have not been used or modified may be returned for a restocking fee. Depending on the model size and accessories that fee could range from 25% to 80% of the cost of the heater. In some cases Bel Thermal Units may only issue a credit for salvage value. Any credit issued will be on account only which can be used against another purchase. No cash refunds will be given. Credits are good for one year from the date of issuing the RGA.


Should the purchaser decide to cancel an acknowledged order. The purchaser may be assessed a charge of 25% minimum of the order, depending on the material and labor used at that point.

All cancellations must be in written form and sent to us via fax. At 954-563-7941.

Limited Warrenty

BEL THERMAL UNITS INC. (hereinafter referred to as BTU) warrants that each BTU Heater will be repaired or replaced at the option of BTU if found to be defective in material or workmanship while under normal use within the first year of operation or until (18) months after shipment from BTU's place of business, whichever occurs first. However, this warranty shall not apply to any BTU Product that has not been installed according to the instructions packed with the heater nor does it apply to any heater that has been subjected to abuse, accident, alteration or substitution of components that are different from those in the original equipment.

BTU reserves the right to determine its obligation by checking the heater and/or parts at our Factory. Permission should first be obtained to return heaters to us that are claimed to be defective. Proper packaging, insurance and the cost of return of heaters to us is the responsibility of the purchaser. Repair or replacement of parts and the prepaid return of the heater to the purchaser will constitute fulfillment of all BTU's obligations and responsibilities with respect to this Warranty.

BTU will not be responsible for expenses incurred in service calls, testing, removing and replacement of heaters nor make reimbursements for parts purchased from others and used in our heaters. At option of purchaser, BTU will expedite shipment or replacement parts for field repair by competent personnel in order to restore operation of a heater with proper parts and a minimum of time and expense to the purchaser.
